This young stallion continues to impress everyone with his versatility. After claiming the Stock Horse of Texas Junior Division Championship in 2023, he has successfully transitioned to being a point earner in AQHA Tie Down Roping. In 2025, he earned the Performance Register of Merit and qualified for the AQHA World Show (Levels 2 and 3) where he was a finalist in the Senior Division. He will be shown in early 2026 by Daniel Brashear before taking a break to head to the breeding barn.
There are a couple of yearlings available at Birdsong Farms if you'd like to add one to your program. All are Ranching Heritage Challenge eligible.

This great son of Freckles Playboy moved to Australia as a yearling and was extremely successful as both a performer and a sire. He returned to the U.S. and, in 2007, moved to Texas. We purchased Player in 2013 and were fortunate to find his pedigree and offspring were so popular. His offspring have exceptional minds and we continue to get contacts looking for them. Player was humanely euthanized in 2020 at the age of 29. We plan to continue his bloodlines with several daughters we have kept and a young stallion, Hes A New Player, in coming years.
